Designing With Web - Part 3: week 1

Enable residents to improve air quality in the city.

Group 4

Project : GreenFlat

Context

when? where? who? why?

Aren't you tired of seeing your plants die ? Even your cactuses cannot survive in your appartment ? Or are you simply trying to make your dream of living in the jungle come true ?
Then our project is for you !

As urban policies are emphasizing more and more the revegetation of our cities with parks and gardens, we think that it is time to go green at home and tackle the issue of indoor air pollution.
Indoor air pollution is often forgotten but it has real effects on the health, that can even be long-term. Most of the time it is due to toxic chemicals in cleaning products, excess moisture, bad heating and cooling systems or even building materials.

Therefore, we decided to facilitate the owning of plants for people who don't necessarily have the space or the time to revegetate their appartments, or simply for the city's residents who are not green-thumbed.

Target

for whom?

Our project is designed for those who have a green thumb but do not have the opportunity/means to cultivate a garden, those who do not have a green thumb but would like to contribute to improving air quality while learning how to garden, and finally those who care about their health and that of their loved ones, including people living in old buildings often poorly ventilated, poorly equipped and built with toxic materials (asbestos...).

Service offered

what? how?

Our offer is a website that will enable urban areas residents to revegetate their households by customizing and planning exactly what they want in accordance with how much space they have to dedicate to it.

That way, they will be able to have fully customized plants set, plant walls, balcony accessories delivered to them, with the hardest to kill varieties of depolluting plants.

Identity

Pick images to describe the universe around your service (context, users, places, techs, …) and name your service accordingly.
Don't try to illustrate the final service that you may have in mind but instead its context.

Benchmark

List concurrents / relative projects and describe how they relate/differentiate to your project
